Quinoderm cream review

This is the cream i used to religiously use on my face so i thought id let anyone who's curious about it know how it worked for me.

Quinoderm cream is something i found while desperately trying to find something to help my acne, its easy to find on the internet but there are 2 different types, there is normal Quinoderm cream, and Quinoderm 5 cream, which is for people with sensitive skin, I've tried both but the normal one is what i'm going to review.

The cream has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, hyrous and 0.5% Potassium Hydroxyduinoline Sulphate and just be aware the smell is AWFUL

It recommends 2-3 times a day, and when i used it i used it once at night and once in the morning, and it really did work, it didn't stop me getting spots, but if i had any i'd just put this on and they would disappear!

I really recommend using a moisturizer after it because it dries your skin out so much, if you do have sensitive skin use the 5 cream but at night make sure you put alot of moisturizer on because it still dries it out so much which is one of the downsides to this product.

The cream also can bleach clothes, bed sheets, towels etc so please make sure you have rubbed it in properly, i unfortunately didn't do this and ended up with bleached pillow cases.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers mild acne, because it does such a good job of getting rid of spots, but if your skin dries out very easily i'd recommend something milder, But if you do suffer from more severe acne i would not recommend this as it doesn't get rid of stubborn spots.

Revlon nearly naked foundation review

In all honesty, when i bought this i only bought it because of how flawless Emma Stone looked on the advertising, but i'm really glad i tried it because this ended up being one of my favorite foundations.

I use this in shade '130 Shell' and i'd say it gives light/medium coverage, and it really does look like you have very little makeup on but at the same time covering everything you want covered.
I applied this with a sponge but its just as easy with fingers or a brush and still gives the same coverage. It doesn't have a pump, which can really be annoying because sometimes too much comes out and you have to scrape it back into the bottle.

My skin did end up being shiny after a few hours but as i have very oily skin I cant say that it was a big issue as i'm yet to find a foundation that keeps my skin matte for a long time, so if you don't have oily skin this definitely wont be a problem on the shine scale (if that is even a thing?!)

The ONE thing i could say would improve this is if it had a pump! but it wont stop me buying it!

I really recommend this foundation, it's not pricey either so if you buy it and end up not liking it, you don't feel like you've wasted alot of money. It currently retails for £8.99 in boots and revlon have released a nearly naked powder, I haven't tired it but if its anywhere as good as the foundation i'm looking forward to trying it!

Benefit high beam review

High beam is one of the popular highlighters by benefit, claiming to be the 'makeup artists secret to a healthy glow' and although it isn't my favorite benefit highlighter it's definitely worth the hype.

It comes in a bottle which looks alot like a nail polish bottle and attached to the lid there's a brush, it can get pretty messy when there is alot of product on the brush. The highlighter itself is a silvery-pink colour.

Application is pretty easy, you dab dots of it onto your cheek and brow bones and any other areas you wish to highlight, then blend it in, once its blended its pretty hard to blend any further (if you know what i mean??)

My overall thoughts on this product were really good, it was easy to blend and did a really good job of highlighting my cheekbones. However I do prefer 'Sun Beam' over this because i like to look sunkissed. But High Beam is absolutely ideal for wearing just on its own, or with makeup!

I think all of this products reviews say it all, I'd definitely recommend it to ANYONE! & if after seeing all it's reviews saying how great it is you're unsure, pop over to your nearest benefit counter and see for yourself! Its definitely something i'd recommend to be in everyone's makeup routine!

This currently retails for £19.50 at benefit and benefit counters and if you have UNIDAYS you can get 10% off on the benefit website!

Benefit erase paste review

Honestly this is my FAVORITE ever concealer, i swear by it, and in this review i'll tell you everything that you need to know about this little pot of magic!

I first got this when i was out shopping and saw it on sale, i thought 'why not?' and got it in shade medium, I'm so so glad i got this because it honestly works miracles.

The packaging is so so cute, it comes in a small pink pot with a purple lid, and when i say small i mean small! but it really does last AGES, I've had my current pot for about 4 months and there is still well over half yet. It also comes with a spatula (i lost mine) and a leaflet giving you tips and tricks of how to use it.

Application is really easy, i use a concealer brush and just use the brush to pat it under my eyes and over blemishes and other imperfections, then i warm up my fingers and rub it in ( i find it works a million times better when your fingers are warm) then just do your makeup like you usually would. You really don't need to apply alot, a little really does go a long way.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this product, maybe that it only comes in 3 shades, I find that medium is slightly too dark for me so i'd definitely get the light shade. If you're unsure what shade you would like then definitely go to a benefit counter and have them match you up!

This retails for £19.50 on the benefit website and at benefit counters!

Benefit Hoola review

Hoola is a bronzer by benefit supposedly being the 'UK's number one' and I've never really thought about trying it until recently when i got some as a gift.

I've heard so many good reviews about this bronzer, and thinking i may have eventually found the 'holy grail' i decided to try it, but honestly, this didn't live up to my expectations.

The actual bronzer is a light brown colour, and unlike others doesn't really have alot shimmer to it, it's completely matte, so this is good for everyday or if you like bronzer but don't like the shimmer it leaves on you.

I found when applying it that it went on very dark and had to blend it alot so i didn't look like a clown, i'm not sure if this is because my skin  is quite light (my skin is an olive tone but my face is very pale) or if this bronzer didn't agree with me. HOWEVER i found it did last a really long time and i didnt need to reapply during the day.

Personally, this isn't my favorite bronzer, its something i would definitely use during the summer when i'm more tanned. I would recommenced going and trying it at a benefit counter because you might find it really works for you!

This retails for £23.50 at www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk or you can pick it up at a benefit store, or benefit counter in debenhams, House of Fraser or any other department store. ( if you have UNIDAYS https://www.myunidays.com/ then you also get an extra 10% off!!)

Zineryt review

Zineryt is something that a doctor can prescribe you for mild/medium acne.

It comes in a box with 2 containers in, one contains liquid and one contains powder, you have to mix these yourself then attach the top (which looks like a bingo dabber) you have to be careful not to touch the top of the dabber.
When applying it you have to dab it on any problem areas (for me it was my face and back) twice a day but be careful not to apply too much at once because it has a very alcoholically smell and it really feels like your nose is on fire! If you apply too much so that its dripping all you do is get a tissue and blot it.

Now for me, this didn't have much of an effect, but i know alot of people who its really worked for, its really all down to personal factors.

The solution was good at gradually getting rid of spots but it didn't really provide any long term effects, i'd get rid of a few and then another few would pop up a few days later.
Another thing with this is that it only lasts about 5 weeks, it goes out of date really quickly and if you use the bottle past 5 weeks you wont see any effect at all.

I can't say i'm overly impressed by this, but i'm sure for alot of people this has worked miracles, so if you're unsure whether to get this prescribed just ask for a few months worth and if it doesn't work your doctor will prescribe you something else, i'm afraid with prescription acne treatment its usually alot of trial and error before you actually find something that works for you!

Benefit the POREfessional review

All i ever hear is people saying how good benefit's POREfessional  is also rated the UK's number one best selling primer and up until recently i have never tried it because i was very happy with my old primer (Rimmel pro fix and perfect) but for Christmas i received a few tubes of this, so i waited until my old primer ran out and thought given its reputation i'd give it a shot.

Priced at £24.50 in the UK and $30.00 in the US its not exactly the cheapest primer but ive got to say, i really think it's worth it. (if you're in the UK and have UNIDAYS https://www.myunidays.com/ then you get 10% off!)

I've got very oily skin, so its extremely hard for me to find a primer that actually keeps my face from turning into a mirror after a few hours, the porefessional doesn't keep me shine free all day, but i can go a good 6 hours without having to touch my face up with powder which for me is great!

It comes in a really cute box, which tells you instructions how to use it under makeup and also over makeup (it never occurred to me to touch makeup up with primer before) and it also comes with a leaflet which explains in more detail how to use it.

The primer itself isn't clear, its a beige colour, and once you put it on it blends perfectly so you don't even look like you have it on, perfect if you want to go makeup free but just want a little something!

Once its on, it really does look like somebody has airbrushed your skin, it evens my skin tone and makes my skin look so smooth!
I found that it makes my pores look smaller but not drastically, but i wasn't expecting a miracle!

However what i would say is if you're applying this under any skin cream/lotions/treatments ect. then make sure whatever you put on first is completely dry as i found putting it on straight after resulted in my skin cream rubbing off and taking the primer with it!

I really do recommend this primer to anybody, even though for most of us it hasn't got a very purse friendly price tag its worth it! Even if you are feeling slightly skeptical i advise going to your nearest benefit counter and asking for a sample i promise you wont be disappointed!
